The children had lots of fun with the Easter Tuff Tray. We started out with a nest surrounded by some easter bunnies, little chicks and plastic eggs (which open up) buried in for the children to find. Then we added some numbers on laminated paper eggs, counted the chicks and read the Ten Chirpy Chicks books. Then we hid the chicks inside the little eggs, hid the eggs in the nest and then found the chicks again. The nest material made a great swishy sound when pulled apart or moved round and inevitably it ended up on the floor quite a lot, but the children enjoyed picking it back up and re-making the nest again and again.
