Today we visited a Sensory Room. It was a lovely, calm room with lots of different things to investigate. There was a noise/touch board which had some very bright fluorescent colours coming up in the low lighting, a tall bubble tube which changes colours every so often. There were some glow in the dark shapes pinned to the wall which we spotted, a projector with images of bubbles moving across one wall. I think one of the favourite things was the long fluorescent tubes, as some of these had little bells attached to them so they made a lovely sound when you moved them. We also saw some reflective pictures with different shapes on the walls, a large mirror and another projector with images of fish moving slowly across a different wall. It was a lovely place for the children to explore, and very relaxing as well :o)
