Today we had a great trip to Liverpool World Museum. There are a lot more photos than normal for this post but we saw so much and the children loved it all! We started off in the aquarium, where the children got up really close to starfish, crabs, rays, plaice and many more different types of fish.
Then we went through to the Bug House and saw the locusts having their breakfast, heard the noises that some bugs make – made by different objects, saw some giant land snails, a giant spider hanging from the ceiling and a lot of butterflies!
Then we went into the Eye For Colour, which was a room filled with lots of hands on activities for the children, all about colours.
Here’s some of the other things we saw today, some very large bones, some dinosaurs, the clock from Hickory Dickory Dock (we didn’t see the mouse though), some beautiful sculptures and items from all around the world.
